Blast from the Past

So, this morning when I woke up I felt the sudden urge to go browsing through the back of my mom's closet to see what I might discover. She had already left for a doctor's appointment so I dug in and was SOOO excited with what I found. I found mainly jackets, coats, and blazers because that was the side of the closet that they were on but I also reached down to the floor and was surprised to discover this humongous gold gown that I know could have never possibly fit my mom. Believe me, it is huge!The pieces below are only a few of the many I found, but don't worry I am planning on posting the rest either tonight or tomorrow. I can't wait for the fall and winter when I can finally wear some of these coats, but until then I am planning on wearing whatever I can now! Also, I would love to hear you opinions on them so please post some comments if you have any =]

Jacket- Mom's (Comme CA des Halles)

This jacket is definitely one of my favorites! The color is absolutely amazing and the back is precious. These pictures really don't do it much justice. I am planning on wearing this with leggings in the fall and winter and I may even be able to pull it off as a dress if I wear it with tights because it is pretty long. It may even look cute with a pair of skinny jeans. Wow, I am just so in love with this jacket and I can barely wait to wear it! Too bad it's not colder =[

Coat- Mom's (Thalian)
This coat is plain, but it is still adorable. The detailing is to die for! It is a light coat so it will be perfect to wear in the fall to keep warm and I may even be able to come up with a few outfits in which I can wear it not as a coat that I take off when not outside if you know what I mean.

Blazer- Mom's (Miles & Long Menswear)
This blazer is pretty cool. Except for the fact that it is huge on me, I do like it. It would be perfect for fall but I don't know if I am going to be able to pull it off because it's so big. Maybe I can get it fitted but i don't know if my mom will let me. What do you guys think?



Jacket- Mom's (Luciano Tempesta)/ Shorts- Levi's/ Tee- Old Navy
Okay, just like the pink jacket, I am in love with this red one too. I was so excited about it that I even wore it today with my Levi's and a plain black tee. Everything about it just amazes me and I can not wait to wear this in the future when it's colder out. It has been a little hot for it today, but I don't care I couldn't not wear it ! I think I will probably wearing this little number with jeans and leggings and possibly some skirts if I get some that match. This will definitely not be the last time you see me wearing this!
